whats supposed to be the main difference between sports car or muscle car ? they make mustangs/camaros'/all the other typical cookie cutter domestic cars with different engine packages to suite different wants.. so could you say an LX or GT is a sports car and a Cobra or Saleen is a muscle car ? Even so most older people call chevelle's or camaro's sports or muscle cars, iv'e heard people use both.
ive never heard one hot rodder call there car or any other muscle car a "sports car". if anyone ever showed up at an oldies show and said "this is my sports car, my mustang" he'd be shot.

lol im not saying mustangs are crap, im just saying they're not sports cars, thats not meant in a derogatory manner.

a mustang is a muscle car, if it has a v6 it's an econo-muscle car.

fd's are THE sports car, they had the c5 styling back in 93, and people still think fd's are brand new.

if someone wants a cheap fast car they don't get a mustang, they get a WRX. cheaper than a mustang gt and a hell of a lot faster.

Orrrr, I say orrrrrr, you could buy a Ford Fiesta!!!

You could pick one of those tizight car's up for about 200 big one's, get some dubs, a NOS sticker, fuzzy dice, steering wheel cover and tail lights, and you'll be pushing 25 seconds in the 1/4 mile!!!
