They're every*******where!

Got to give Ford some credit for the popularity of the Mustang, and kick GM in the *** for making the last Camaro/Firebird such a piece of **** by comparison that it died a slow but deserved death.

I'd rather see Mustangs than minivans or sputes.

I love it when guys in mustangs want to race my car, I tell them that i don't race girls cars. The mustang, the n/a eclipse, and the cavalier are all girls cars that i see guys tring to act tough in. Unless a mustang costs over 50g's it aint worth it.

alright alright.. this has gone a little to far... mustangs really aren't all that bad.. and i know im going to get a lot of **** for this, but i have a 94 lx.. current mods are duel exhaust + 17" gt rims, and nothin major besides that. BUT i have to say that my car has been a really good car. I have had it for 5 years.. bought it with 80,000 miles on it, and it now has over 150k on it. The only parts that have needed replaced (besides brakes and tires) were the clutch, and the waterpump. THATS IT ! It's been a really reliable car, and runs the same as the day I bought it back in hs. It doesn't burn any oil, rides smooth, and is in really good shape.

I agree that the FD is a much nicer car, and is much nicer to look at, but mustangs are pretty reliable, sporty, and fun to drive.

(now all hell breaks loose)

jeep's have "Air" odynamics..

how is a mustang not "sporty" ? or sports car like ? btw, comparing an FD to a lot of other "sports cars" makes other sports cars not look as sporty anymore..

sporty.. what a ****** dumbass word.. god damnit

It's perfectly okay for you fanatics to get up on your soapbox and rave about how awesome the RX-7 is. I'm right there with ya! But let's be real, if someone out there wants a low-dollar sporty daily driver and doesn't want a 15-year old project car (FC) then what the hell does he buy? That's right! A Mustang.

Hello! There's a reason lots of people buy Mustangs, and it's not that everyone in the world is a moron except you!

umm it IS AEROdyanmics, not AIRodynamics. unless you were trying to make a pun, in which case, you didn't make a very good one.

Secondly, jeep's have the aerodynamics of a brick on wheels, believe me I drove one for a year, you pass an 18 wheeler on the highway and the windows coming from the 18wheeler throw the jeep side to side.

As for mustangs not being sporty, they're supposed to be muscle cars. Would you ever call a chevelle "sporty", maybe the dusters we have are "sporty".

as soon as i get the hell outta school im gettin either a 7 or an 8, just to clarify that i intend on going rotary.. i know my cars not great or anything, but its actually a pretty nice car. (they really aren't that bad..) thats the main point i was trying to make. no chance that they are even close to an FD. in DE we have several Saleen's runnin around and in no way do they compare to an FD. The FD will turn heads before the mustang.. im ****** this thread up off topic huh ?

whats supposed to be the main difference between sports car or muscle car ? they make mustangs/camaros'/all the other typical cookie cutter domestic cars with different engine packages to suite different wants.. so could you say an LX or GT is a sports car and a Cobra or Saleen is a muscle car ? Even so most older people call chevelle's or camaro's sports or muscle cars, iv'e heard people use both.
