I was just denied for a car loan. Damn student loans!
If any of you want to check your credit on line I suggest using
www.aipdfw.org
They're the only ones that list their 800 # on their website, so they can't screw you on the trial membership because you can get in touch with them to cancel. Very nice to deal with. I signed up, checked my credit score and history, then cancelled all in the same hour. Very cool.

just be aware that every time you check your credit, it shows up on your credit report
example: You're applying for a loan. The loan officer looks at your credit report, and sees that your credit has been checked 20 times in the last year. He's thinking, "hhmmm, this guy has applied for 20 loans, and didn't get one...maybe there's a reason..."
