OH BROTHER
Speaking of brothers, my brother has 2 mercedes anyway to cut the story short I had just gotten my FD 2-3 years back. I go to the states and he was Mercedes this and meredes that.. I was just like SHUT UP! (PS my story telling sucks) haha
Anyway he says my Mercedes has (memory 250hp) or some **** like that, I said zippity do dah. I said yout 250hp can be beat by a 100hp beetle VW, he said NO WAY! this thing is fast! Mercedes is the best, as I yawn...... I say ok my RX7 has 265hp stock and is half the weight of your Mercedes NOW WHAT!?
Well the mercedes is build for power and blah blah blah blah.......
My brother and I always **** back and forth so its no biggie. If I had a MILLION DOLLARS right now no BS.
I would by a Mercedes and drive it off palace verdes in CALI right off the frucking cliff. I couldnt mind paying that much for entertainment. (PS. this is after I set-up a meet with all the little Mercedes lovers clubs to come see)
I dont hate mercedes, but if most people that keep driving them dont keep their noses from turning SOOOOOO far up, soon their nose will be UP THEIR ***!

The SCCA dictates that and RX-7 is faster than a 325.
Hell, My Mini Cooper according to the SCCA dictators is as fast as a Viper or Z-06 or Porsche 911 Turbo.
If a 5 series is out cornering and out braking you, your RX-7 needs work done.
W/ 225RWHP I was taking apart M-3's and M-5's at an open track day. The only place they had even the slightest advantage was on the longer straights. When I mean slight I could pull up to their door but didn't have enough to get by. In the turns I was just about rear ending them.
How do you guys put it?

I wonder how many of the people that actually talked **** on this forum have really driven a BMW hard. They're nice cars. They're heavy though but they have somewhat roomy back seats which are non exsistent in RX-7s. It's sort of like comparing apples to bananas. You don't just buy performance with a BMW. Appreciate them for their great engineering. Don't need to hate because it's not a rotary.
A lot of you on here are just like the girl about the bimmer but from the other side of the arguement but if you look at it it's almost as biased.
