I beg to differ.
The best drag cars are automatics.
Sure it takes a lot to build it (and a lot of knowhow).
But once it comes down to it...its ummm....press down the accelerator and hold that wheel steady....
Not saying it doesn't take ANYTHING to do it, But I do think the generalization holds true, I think WRC drivers could do Daytona anyday!

They also put the 323 GTX motor in the Festiva that was in Sport Compact Car. The guy drove the Festiva from Saskatchewan to California with his whole family and all his **** in there, lol.
The "Fastiva" was sold, and than some ****** beat the **** out of it, broke in, and tore the **** out of the car. They gouged a big "H" in the hood, prolly pissed off the festiva beat his Cavalier Type R off the line.
