You guys with 8 bazillion apps running in the background make me want to cave my own nutz in with a bat. Do you maybe notice that your computer is WAY slower than when you first got it. Wonder why that is.... Lusers.

...sorry it's the geek in my rearing it's ugly head.

Not at all, actually. My CPU is always at 100% from folding@home anyway. I have a 1800 @ 2.39GHZ with less than 35C temps at full load, its not affecting me. I have two webservers, a game server, and an ftp server on at all times and i still never get less than 1mb-2mb sec downloads and a lil over 800kb/sec upload.

I can fire up Doom III demo right now and not miss a beat. PC takes it and laughs at me.

Same here. I always run SETI@home, that keeps my cpu loaded down, and with 1536 Mb of ram, I'm no too worried about running too many programs at once.

i have exactly 1gb of ram because i bought a gig stick of PC4200 Consair. I'll get a better overclock when i am watercooling the NB and GPU, but i dont have the need or time to do it at the moment.

You mean the system tray? I only have the standard M$ speaker icon and an ATi icon. No need for anything else.
