so the fc is my first "car" all i have ever owned is toyota 4x4's... as living in the south all we do is get dirty, go mud bogging, and work on buddies mustangs/camaros... i love the fc and the rotory... and i have a 4x4 yota that is motorless... ive done a built small block chevy into a 16 inch lifted 4x4 yota before... but thats been one to many times... so i was thinking about a rotory. ive always asked poeple why no one has ever really done it before (i know it has to have been done somewhere) becuase they can handle abuse, and high rpms (workin your way out of sticky mud with the pedal to the floor, or climbin), but everyone say "well becuase of the torque, they have no torque... but what the hell? my fc has plenty of torque... and a built rotory surely would have alot of torque... i dunno... tell me what you think. dont bust my ***** too bad

The more you mod a rotary, the less low-end torque you typically get.

But then again, you could be a pioneer. Why not give it a try?

also, you could judt use super low gearing to get around the torque issue...

i dont think itd be fun crawling around with a rotary in a jeep.

i mean everythings wrong, need lots of torque and power at low rpms, rotaries make no torque, and make most power in the high rpms.

it just doesnt scream "usable"" to me.

i mean if youre not actually gonna offroad it then itd be fine.

kevin.
