i figured this would be the best place on how to get a motor down from a deliver truck. the problem is the truck doesnt have like a "elevator" thing. and im kinda stumped. its on a crate also. thanks

have a couple of freinds help you lift it from the truck,,,,,,, or fined a cherry picker

if ya gotta do it one man style then you need an engine hoist as mentioned, 4 guys could EASILY lift it out, two could lift it out if they arent pansies.

Lift it out by hand, I've done it a few times, guess that makes me stronger than you

yeah get a few guys and lift it.. if you need better leverage get a chain and bolt it on two points on the engine and then use a 4x4 to haul it off with better grip.. thats the oooooooold school manly cherry picker action..

if there is a place to do it hang a pulley and a rope or wire and lift it up and lower it to the ground or something.
