Here are some cool things to note:



The pain was so bad going into the ER that I was trying to rip my shirt off of my stomach for some reason.



After the surgery, the anesthesiologist put a tube down my right nostril, through my throuat, all the way into my stomach. This tube was connected to a pumkp which would pump my stomach so I didn't throw up and cause my organs to spill out.



See, they couldn't close me up because of the infection from all theshit that burst out of the apendix.



After 7 hours of pain and not being able to swallow any spit which was developing rapidly, I told the nurses to remove the tube. When they wouldn't, I did it my self not caring if I lived or died.



Another thing, a day after surgery, they put me on PCV which is another machine containing the Demerol. This was cool, since it had a buttom (a plunger really, like a detonator) where I could give myself a dose of the painkiller when I needed it. Needless to say, I ODed a bit and was feeling very ******* good. That was the first time without any pain AT ALL. I couldn't feel my legs and I was very drowsy, but it was all good.



I have two holes on either side of my stomach which used to have tubes through them. One side leading into my stomach, and the other to two little granade like containers which would drain the **** that my apendix burst out. It was always red, like blood, maybe a little lighter in color.



Oh, this is great. They put something on me called a folie, or a cathoder (sp?). It's a foot long tube which goes into your dick hole (pardon the expression) and drains your **** automatically.



I have 8 needle holes in my arms from IV's, and had 4 IV lines in my right arm at one time for 3 days straight along with the granade like things and the folie. Mobility wasn't an option.



I haven't slept on my side for 12 days, and I won't be able to for another 2 weeks at least.



I'm still disoriented and can't remember the dates very well. I missed payment on my cable bill because I was in the hospital but Comcast didn't mind. My 5th day there, the house financial officer gave me a visit, and after 5 attempts at asking how much this would cost (not that I cared at that time, Demerol was owning me) she muttered out 28K up until then, I think my bill should be closer to 40 I think.



Oh and one other thing. When your stomach hurts and the hospital doesn't know what's wrong, they put you on something called NPO which means you can't put ANYTHING in your mouth (no water, no food, nothing) because that might make it work.



I was NPO from the time I got into the ER until 2 days after the surgery, and then I finaly got some Dasani, I swear to God I nearly burst out in tears it was so good.



Now to to mention all the throwing up while I was still open from surgery, and the pain that brought about, I think I held my own.



I wanted to type all of this yesterday, but I just didn't feel so good.



Thanks for reading guys, and please, if your right side starts to hurt, stops for a few days but is still felt when pressure is aplied, it's your apendix. go to the doctor, get a CAT scan and have it fixed before you have to go through all of this ****.
