So I'm at work
And theres alot of noise across the street
And drunk guys were hooking their trucks together with chains and seeing who could pull whos truck
And they were yelling and making bets
And then this diesel chebby dragged some beat up ford all up and down the street while the ford was doing its damnedest to fight it, it was funny
And then I reflected upon what I just saw and decided I need to move out of the country

There were some idiots down here in the belly of the beast that did that a few years ago, the gene pool cleansed itself though when one of the chains snapped and went flying thru the back window of the truck killing the driver.

I could imagine a chain would be pretty lethal, I've seen a winch cable break and if anyone were in it's way it would not have been pretty.

HA! and everyone thought we had all the rednecks... bastards...
I've got the bad end of a winch cable once. IT snapped and whipped around the side of the truck and stuck me in the calf... we were not participating in redneckness though. another truck got stuck on a jobsite and we were pulling him out.
it wasn't that bad, stuck about 1/2 inch deep with about 15-20 of the seperate strands, the rest went around my leg and just scratched me... I just pulled it out and bandaged it up... no biggie...
