I prefer Widescreen and I just bought The Italion Job in full screen by accident. I dont know if you know but full screen cuts off the sides of the picture.

Now, I have a letterbox screen on my TV and when I put my first DVD in I was pissed that there was a black bar at the top and bottom. I thought the letterbox screen would be full.

 

widescreen all the way, but that's mainly because of the HUGE widescreen TV i have

 

I used to watch fullscreen, but then I bought a 32" TV and have used widescreen whenever possible since then.

 

well if i dont have to set it up i pefer wide screen, but we have 3 remotes for 3 different p.o.s. players so i voted for charleton heston

It can be 1 of 2 things, or maybe both. It's either a setting on the tv, or the dvd player , or both.

Take it back and exchange it. I've done the same thing previously, never had a problem exchanging it for the same title.

 

Probably just a setting like turbovr6 said



but look at the DVD player first make sure it's set @ 16:9 aspect ratio that should take care of it
