I hear complaints about comcast, but my only one is it's too damn expensive. I'd pay less for slower internet, i.e. DSL, but I can't get it in my area. The service never goes out, and the performance is fine.

I finally went with cellular service so i can cruise up and down the coast on the boat and have internets, it's been very reliable and quite fast, i'm able to play xbox live on it.

I never had any issue with comcast's internet, their tv is terrible, but their internets was always good.

I've had Comcast for cable tv for at least 7 years. It's reliable as hell. But I hear Richmond area is probably one of their best areas in terms of service. The pipes are all pretty new.
