Natural disaster is more like it, mostly such things don't stick around in the news terribly long.

As for the verses don't assume.

LOL I know, I know...part of the big deal was the idea that it was a terrorist attack.

Nonetheless, 13k+ is a LOT of lives lost, no matter how it was done, and you KNOW it'd be bigger news here (well obviously, but still) if it happend here...It's just the way it is I guess.

And about the verses, I know, don't assume, but it does say Earthquakes will be *more frequent*, not necessarily larger or that they'll happen, period. And recent studies say they are happening more *often*, just a thing to think about, I'm not really saying much in it...

Think of it like this...

The biggest recorded ice chunk just broke off from main Antarctica.

Dolphins and whales have been beaching themselves by the hundreds.

Penguins are now being recorded as being erratic and confused (acting lost).

Some bird migration patterns have been recorded for the 1st time as changed.

Mt. Rainier has become active again (holds more glacier water on the one mountain than all the cascades combined).

Mt. St. Helens has become active again and recently blew a little.

now we have a 8.9 style earthquake and sent rippling tsunamis that killed multiple thousands of people.

and that’s what I can think of off the top of my head.

This all happened in the past 4 months.

Its some 'day after tomorrow' **** happening.. lol

In the past, events like this have been attributed to magnetic pole changes, or some form of global natural disaster. Either way, those have both been linked to major extinctions.

And I believe the bible talks about a lot of natural disaster before the rapture too. But its not like this stuff hasn't happened before, but interesting anyways.

I was just reading a bit more. It appears that the mayan calander (which is accurate to about 1/100th of a second and its "predictions" have always been correct) ends on December 21st, 2012 A.D. It also talks about large changes in the world itself starting around this time and leading up to the extinction of the world (or human civilization).

interesting... just food for thought. lets hope the mayans werent right about the human civilization dying off in 2012

thats not too far away.

As an athiest who belives in nothing but what can be substantiated by his own eyes, I say poppycock to all the predictions of all. If I predict a fat kid will eat cupcakes in the future, it shall make me no more "all seeing" than the rest of the sources each of you quote, even as fatass eats his cupcake.

I'm very drunk.

Don't know if this has already been posted in a previous link, but here's a vid of the tsunami: http://dr.dk/pubs/nyheder/template/lib/wmm...publicationID=1

It doesn't look real big, but it just keeps going and going...
