SNES = Win



Anyone looked up prices on Final Fantasy II, for SNES? I bet it's just as high.



I have Chrono Trigger and FF2 (aka FF4) burned on disc for playstation use...

 

I bought my Chrono Trigger new for about 80 bucks... I lucked out.



Best game of all time... period.

 

I dunno, SNES FFIII (aka FF6), was gold. I bought that game the day it came out in Canada, for $80 bucks...

 

I was at the Flea Market 2 weeks ago and there is a guy there selling all the old game consoles for $100+.



Were talking NES SNES Atari Coleco etc..



I can buy a used PS1 for $40. I guess nostolgia has its price.

 

One of the best console RPG's, I'd say that Chrono Trigger and Super Metroid are the best games on the SNES.



It's not the best game ever. Ultima 5, Ultima 7, Ultima 4, Breath of Fire 3, System Shock 1 & 2 (MUCH better), Deus Ex, Fallout 1 & 2 (MUCH better), Wasteland, Wizardy, Morrowind, Ultima Underworld, Magic Candle 3 (HARD), Might And Magic, Dragonsphere (You only THINK you know what's happening), Baulders Gate.



All of those games are as good or in some cases much better then Chrono Trigger. Ultima 7, System Shock 1&2 are so much better it's not a contest. Morrowind is better by sheer volume (have not, probably never will see everything in that game).



Mostly console style rpg's don't match up to pc games, allthough BoF III was pretty close.

 

...I think its time to shrinkwrap some old games...

we took games from my friends house so we have 24 now, and super ghouls n ghosts is the greatest game ever.

 

The whole metroid series was = WIN!



I haven't yet played the metroid game for gamecube.. I have been dying to..
