RENESIS engine in a Rx-7???? Would Mazda sell us the blocks? Or complete engine? If so I wonder what kind of motor mounts we would have to fabricate? And would the new u.i.m. fit under a second and third gen hood? Can she be turbo'd??? muhahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!

no one knows. the engine is a totally different size than previous rotaries, though... I think you'll have to wait for the engine to come to market before anyone knows. oh, and nearly everyone has thought of that. , and you can check the RX8 forum for interesting info about the upcoming addition to Mazda's line.

if they kept the front cover bolt patern the same as an fd it will swap into a 1st gen, it should fit under the hood, the rx8 hood is really low
