I live in State College and all i did was put a Bonez hi-flow cat on the TII, without the airpump attached (it has an air tube) it still passed no problem. Any cat will pass in PA, as long as its not rusted out.

Ok that's sounds good so ia m going to have to put a high flow cat on and then test. Then after the test ust rip the cat off and put my stright pipe back on. Which i think just bolts up. That sux's i am going to have to get a a frekin 200 dollar cat and then test. There isent any way i could make the car exempt is there? like i know classic cars dont have to have any thing. But that's 20 years old at least. Is there any other way to get around it?

To be exempt from emissions your title has to say your odometer is exempt, either because of SUPER high mileage, or it doesnt function properly (in PA). If you want to borrow my cat for your test, come on over and pick it up, it'd be cheaper than ordering one lol...An about the classic car thing, in PA, if your car came with cats (classic or not) it has to have at least one for visual.

Well here in maryland ,you have to have 450.00 worth of work done to get a 2 year waiver--and the bad part--is now they check to see its all been done ,it use to be like 275.00 and they didnt check.--I got a cat put on my car,(that i didnt have) and also cleaned the hell out of my air valve i think it was --it goes for like 300 on mazdatrix.--I got a shop to say--that was new and that they put a flowmaster cat on ---lol--it all came up to be like 520.--It all worked out.I failed again, but i got the waiver

Yeah we onl need 50 bucks worth here. HAHA, But you have to have all the basic equipment to get that wavier. Hell all emissons is, is a form of tax and if you have a fast car they just tax you more. It's a bunch of bullshit.
