Heading To Washington For A Week

Heading over to Washington for a week for a tribology conference as part of my masters in mech eng, any one got some good places to go and have a look at while I'm there?

Uhh yea, when I tell people I am from washington here in florida, I have to say "washington state" otherwise they automatically assume I am from DC

I live 40 min from dc. Its a decent city as long as you stay in the nicer areas.



Go see the mall and all the monuments.

It should be fun, never been overseas before (live in New Zealand) and being put up in an executive suite in the hilton

what the **** is a tribology!? is that like where the apache's and navajos come together or something?

It is the study of friction wear and lubrication, Im doing my masters thesis on selection and testing of piston compression seals and chamber coatings for a two stroke engine with a rectangular piston
