I was in shock when I was in NC from all the stories of stolen EMS's, Honda motor swaps, and other parts... I guess its pretty regular occurrence from NY all the way down to florida.. Don't leave the EMS in open sight, and don't leave your car out on the street...

Thats pretty bad, that stuff just doesn't seem to happen to much around here so its a bit of shock..

Some honda guys told me that just about all the motor swaps for sale on the net, are stolen, and sometimes on their 2 or 3rd go round as stolen swaps.. Thats just insane..

I am not sure which is dirtier job, head /head gasket change, or automatic transmission filter change.. Maybe rear diff overhaul is in there somewhere too..

It's starting to look a little better. I hope to crank her up before next weekend. I got the valve cover on it today. I want to replace a couple bolts on the timing belt tensioner, put the throttle body on, hook up a few sensors, and should be good to go!

The radiator sprung a leak. In draining it, I noticed evidence of oil in the coolant. Briefly considered donating the car, but eventually decided to go ahead and fix it.

The oil passage at the right rear of the head was leaking oil into the coolant passage. Compression was still good.

Hey, that's a pretty cool ride! Have you modded it? Did you put a short-throw flush handle on it?
