The gto is a nice car but i personally would take the 7 no matter what condition, if your going to restore something do it to the turbo II

I take it you need the funds from the sale of one of the two cars for a daily

driver?

The GTO would be cheaper to keep because you can get classic insurance on

it, im sure you already have that right? Plus it has that sentimental value,

if its just space you need, give the GTO back to dad for now for safe keeping,

I know of my dad gave me a car he had for so long I would feel honored to have

it and strive to restore it to see the look in my dad's eyes, even if it takes a bit longer,

oh well right?

You can buy another S4 TII anytime you want one.

Eh, the GTO would NOT be cheaper to keep unless I completely redid the engine, converted it to EFI, and threw in a 6 speed so you cant watch the gas gauge move with the tach.

Its completely unpractical. I've decided I'm going to take pictures of the GTO with my friends digicam and see what I can get for it.

I would like to see it restored, which is why I'm probably going to sell it. I would rather invest in the RX-7 and I doubt my dad will be doing anything with it.

I'd keep the GTO and ditch the 7.

7's are pretty easy to obtain, GTO's are not.

The movie of course. That car was awsome until they put that **** into the interior. I especialy liked the lack of door handles, they replaced them with electronic buttons mounted by the driver's side window.

That car looks like it started out in much worse shape than mine is right now looking under the hood.

Looks like they just did body work, interior, cut the roof off, and the other customizations.

Hm..maybe I should restore mine then sell it on ebay under the title;

"Pontiac GTO for sale, like used in the movie xXx!" Then add Fast and Furious for good measure :rice:

LOL, perhaps, but I'm planning on a GTO myself about 5 years down the road. Like this one, must be a 4 speed, 1966 or 67, and be either black or dark purple.

Do you like to turn without droping to 10mph?

Id keep the 7. Im not much of a GTO fan.. dad had one.. heavy..
