No it's not, for one it's not Irish, and second it's gay. Play rugby - feel a man!

hey Mark.. I dont know if ever been to a American (european league or exhibition) football game in person.....but if you have what was your impression or any of the guys over the pond can reply. I would like to see Pro Rugby and Hurling (actually my best friend was good at that eating Denny's chili after an all nighter and going outside , stick his finger in his throat and then spin.... it on the front window pane and then run.)but I dont know if its around here for exhibition or not.

I very nearly went to an ice-hockey when we were over - the main impression I get is your sports are tailored to be exciting for the spectators, whereas we make a game entertaining to play.

[quote name='venomrx7' date='Jul 3 2005, 09:50 PM']I was thinking the same thing
and robx-7's right. lacrosse can be painful as hell with no pads.

I played lax in highschool (all american biotch!)
i played defence. One time a kid with a clocked 95mph shot hit me square in the chest from 3 feet away. I coughed up blood for the next two weeks.
Ive been hit in the head with shots before and they ******* hurt. My friend lost a testie because he got hit in the nuts with a shot (no cup)
i shoulda planned to play in college....i got offers from 3 or 4 d3 schools

What kind of a ball do you use in Lacrosse, and how heavy is it? In hockey we use a 6oz hard plastic ball which goes well over 100mph, but then again I have a lot of pads on in goal (most areas anyway).

if that much... still hurts like hell...
And if you want to keep saying rugby is gay, come play a game or two and see if you still think so.
