i just figured out how to use my mealplan at school to pay for stuff at the computer store, (it takes a different sort of currency) so i'm gonna use it to get halflife 2 for free.

cs source... its gonna be so fun.

yeah... when you sign up for a meal plan you get bonus money... as an incentive for signing up. I realized the computer store on campus takes flex money, its like campus money for doing laundry and using at the bookstore, but it is dollar for dollar, unlike my mealplan. so i just converted the bonus mealplan cash over to flex and will be getting the game.

i just learned i could do that yesterday, and thus, today free halflife is possible.

i'm ordering it (with and educational discount, of course) on tuesday.

Dude if you just asked I could'a given you my copy. You could just pay for shipping. I would only ask you to pay shipping. I dont accept flex money though

HL 1 and 2, something in the physics or mechanics of the game engine itself ALWAYS makes me queasy. I can play FPS games all the time, but those or any derived from the HL engine makes me sick. I'm a puss.
