Haircut?

I don't think that in my entire adult life, I have gotten a haircut I was satiesfied. Seriously, I got kinda fed up with the whole hair cut bullshit a few months ago and decided for a change to get one of those EXPENSIVE DESIGNER cuts. I usually paid about 5 bucks a cut, and this time it was 20. I figured that you get what you pay for, and that this time I'd get a good cut.
Was it so, HELL NO. I got the same **** as those 5 dollar cuts. Why, I don't know. ****, I thought I could have done better than that 15 year veteran hair stylist from Afghanistan.
So I get home, pissed with my new haircut (she cut my hair way to shortm I hate short hair) and that was it, I decided to cut my own hair when the time comes.
The thing is that I told the bitch to juts cut of a little hair (maybe an inch off the top and half an inch on the sides) and she hushed me and said that nobody ever told her what to do, she choses how to cut based on what she thinks is best. So, I figured I'd just let her since she was that experianced. But she fucked it up.
So now, I'm at the peek of exploding, my hair is growing out of control and I don't think that there is ANYBODY in the states that could do this right.
What do I do, do I try it myself? Remember, I was never before happy with the cuts, so if I **** it up, I won't mind.

ok, 5 bucks for a haircut here is a ghetto cut, $20 is a normal cut.
if you got a designer cut youd be looking at well into the hundreds, i know people in the city that get designer cuts for over $130...seriously.
for $15, i get a brook and a shape up.

$5 for a haircut 
Yeah I have never seen that before. I have been going to the same girl for the past 5 years. Always charged me $16. That is still cheap!! Well 2 months ago she quit her job. I went to a new stylist. They charged me $32 for a simple cut.
