one pet peeve:



The A.I. GOD it sucks ***. They run into the back of you on corners? WTF?!! If ANYBODY rented mechassault, it came with a demo of Forza Motorsports. In comparison, the only thing it has on GT4 is the, well, damage...wich i can do without sometimes...but the ******* AI IS AMAZING!!! They react TO YOU just as you would react to them, and touch the bumper, just TOUCH and they get squirrely, just as you would, or go off into the sand just as you would...or hit a guardrail just as you would and get DAMAGED! Which is pretty cool if your a super-aggressive highly skilled driver! Gt4 pretty much accels in all the other areas....forza's backgrounds are highly innanimate and the details in the cars arent that great, along with its very noticeable arcade-like handling.

so i go into the supercar challenge in pro mode with my fully modded 22b just to see what kind of car i need to be able to win the races and the car that won first place was a tommy kaira ZZII or whatever. so i go buy that car for 500k, put all the mods on (has like 950hp or so) and go to race. when i get there it wont let me in the race bc it says production cars only, WHAT? theres one racing in the race but i cant go in with one? i bought the car from the dealer and its not a production car? im pretty sure now that i think about it that this happened before with the cien, but when you go into the race with a car that it will let in you will see sometimes that there is a cien in there racing.





oh, another rant, how can they really say that that stupid buick special '62 can beat the gt40 race car? give me a freaking break, theres no way that car is that fast

ive been through this more than once, turning off autosave doesnt turn off that saving, at least it didnt for me. and i should know, its what led to my restart of the game when i was over 25% through it.



ps where is the option to turn off autosave? i turned it off my first time in the game but when i restarted i looked around and couldnt find where to turn it off

Hey smarty pants, it's in OPTIONS.



Be it at HOME or at the start Screen, or before a race even, there's an OPTIONS...er..option. In there, somewhere (I don't have GT4 with me right now) you can do it.



And yes, whenever you buy a car it automatically SAVES no matter what option you have for autosaves. SUCKS THE BIG ONE.



GT4 Already lost a large part of my attention, back to Metal Gear Solid 3 I go...

 

Well in GT3 I would always buy a car, max it out, and if I didn't like the result I'd restore my game. Kinda cheating, so I guess that's why you can't do that.
