yeah i beleive originaly it was going to come out in november. i hate game manufacturers for this, it'l like doom3 and cs2. a release date is never true with games.

Not to fuel the flames of controversy.. but I heard at one point they were just going to wait for PS3 to come out before releasing GT4. Anyone know?

A doubt that, they would re-write the game. Plus, the next gen consoles are not projected to come out until 2005, according to Tech TV, haha.

I know. I know that it's coming out for PS2, and I also know that if it doesn't; there will be trouble.

Nah, it's already slated for release, so it, in theory, should be done already. I've seen most of the car's, most of the track's, and I'll be counting the day's!
