Gran Turismo 3

The vitz races i didnt find that hard... you just gotta get the car set up right... its a car that likes understeering, so stiffen the rear suspension/anti-roll bar up a bit, use the 1-way diff, and if the race doesnt have the tire wear indicator (i dont remember), get the stickiest tires you can afford, cause with no tire wear, it doesnt matter how fast they "would" wear out, cause they dont.
Doesnt having 10000+ hp cars just take the fun out of the competition in the game? Unless your racing against someone else in one of them, I dont see how the computer stands a chance?
I think the closest to an F1 car in GT2 was the Toyota GT-ONE (They insist on spelling out "one" in the game, so i will here). They also misspelled "Calibra" in GT3, on the actual screen where you see the car spinning around its fine, but when it appears in lists such as in your garage, its spelled "Caribra"

we should do the fastest lap time thread again.
FD, whatever mod you want to do to it (without cheats....)
that way you can test your driving skill as well as your setup against others.
wanna do laguna seca? screen shots are a good thing

The 8 in the game has nice power above 6500 RPM but the gearing is way too tall.
my 1st mods are sport tranny and tires....it is very competitive..
The Ruf RGT is awesome....it can handle all the power with the stock suspension...it understeers a little, but is sooo easy to drive.
I play the game waaay too much. I use pretty much all the Japanese cars, and a few of the others.

i always go for the full custom tranny on all my cars. set it on the auto setting of about 19 and then widen 5th and 6th out all the way, works great with the racing flywheel and clutch.

No, no, I think he was actually refering to the awesome that belongs to you, in which case he used the proper spelling.
