So as an anniversary present, my wife gave me this cool watch. The brand is "Invicta," and it's a self-winding watch. Our friend was given this watch by his former boss when he quit, and didn't like it, so he gave it to my wife to give to me. It looks real expensive, but I'm not sure .

It has a clear back, with a weight in it that spins when you move, thereby winding the watch. I like it, but I don't want to mess it up by wearing it every day if it's expensive.

ah, cool. Mine is like model 8926, with a solid-link bracelet, and larger crown that actually screws out. It's gold, with a blue bezel (the outer ring turney thing, right?).

Mechanical watches are always cool even the not-so-pricey ones. One of my favorite watches is a mechanical Poljot. Hand-winding makes it feel special One of these days I want to get a Poljot lunar chronograph. I'd get a Chronoswiss but who has the $$$ for that?

That's a pretty nice watch! My wife just got me a Bel-Air watch for our anniversary. It's titanium with a blue face, cronograph feaures, etc. It's a super sweet watch, even better than my old Citizen!
