Question

Did the same thing the last one did, but found a way to fix it, i can't run anything under 1024x768...which REALLY sucks as I am used to 640x480.......It's a KDS USA XF-7B if anyone has any ideas on how to fix it so I can use my smaller resolution, if not, I guess I'll just use this...huge freakishly large hard to read res... :P

Check your refresh rate settings in Control Panel.

I've never heard of this monitor, but it sounds like your computer is trying to use a refresh rate that your monitor cannot support.

You can change the setting to be auto and you should be a-okay.

Are you using Windows XP?

You can always just turn up the text size in IE...

using FireFox, and I tried the to reset the refresh rate, 50 - 120 mhz, still messed up...I've already adjested to this Res, so I guess it'll be ok, plus everyone says 1024x680 is better for gaming anyway..

Does your card have dual monitor support? Mine does and if i un-hook my secondary without turning it off in the card settings it will make my primary monitor act like that.

Hrm it could very well be that, I have a Radeon 9800 Pro (256mb) , it has monitor and S-video, and DVI out, and I think i plugged the monitor in when the comp was on and the TV was hooked up to S-Video (since it was the only way I could use the comp at the time)...So I should unplug the secondary, and restart?

Unplug it, disable it, and reboot. If that fixes it you know whats up. If it does fix it, set it the way you want, plug in the secondary, and reboot it shouldnt change the primary back.
