lol, give it a couple years, it's gettin there.

Nah I don't think so. 5 years ago the prices for houses like those were in the 400K range. Since then they have done nothing but sky rocket.

BTW, the Bears suck ***, I'm ashamed to be a fan.

Great minds think alike. Once I am liquid again that will happen. There is plenty of room for a 2 car with work area. I plan on having the driveway on the sideroad.

I never said it was going to be easy to rezone. A client just went through it and I believe the word Hitler was uttered from his mouth.

I need to have a Handicap parking space, handicap access to the building (never had this in my other 2 offices) Handicap access to a bathroom (again, never had this in my other 2 "commercial" offices I rented) I need parking to support the building, on site retention, irrigation, and landscaping. plus a sign. I need to hire a civil engineer too, I guess to calculate the drainage and design a parking lot.

My client said this all ran him close to $40K. We will stay on the DL for a while.

alot of main roads around here are zoned residentual/commercial, usually a doctors or dentist office, plumbing offices, real estate, etc.

no one really wants to live on a main road anyhow, those that do live there usually are renters.

Pretty much every other house on that block is commercial. My office is in the bathroom, I'm pretty sure they are trying to send me some sort of message, but I have yet to figure it out. Maybe that I take a lot of trips to the bathroom I dunno.

I wanted my own office so I could smoke cigars and ********** all day, but it wasn't in the cards.
