these are the Dahon Boardwalk 7 speeds, weighs like 28 lbs. Really comfy too, even though the tires are 20 inch the ergonomics are perfect.

i didnt get a book report about the bikes in their car, but they unfolded and looked just like yours. they looked awkward but like you said they feel comfortable while riding.

I been seeing bikes (i think they fold) with actual seats and seatbacks on them . The pedals are far up front near the headset of the bike.

the only issue with those is it's impossible not to look like a complete douchebag while riding one.

That also reminds me of the folding cars people have out here. People literally have folding cars. What the ****? ... and ive seen them!

Can you back that up with some statistics? How many have been claimed by these "deathtraps?" More than were struck by lightning? Eaten by alligators?

LOL yea the cheap ones you see on ebay are pretty rickety, if you look at the Dahon's they have massive tubing and the locks have a safety so they won't fold unless you really mean it.
