Thumbs up

Today, I talked to an insurance adjuster that works for my insurance company. After talking briefly about the situation involving my car, I gave a recorded statement about what happened on Saturday. Following the interview, she informed me about what would be taking place, and what the insurance company's stand on the matter would be. Essentially, she told me that my company would likely not be accepting liability for the claim, meaning that they wouldn't be paying for the other guy's car. In addition to that, she said that even though I had been cited in regards to the accident, it probably wouldn't have much bearing on the claim.

All of this boils down to a best case/worst case situation. The best case would be that my insurance record would not be marred, and his insurance company would pay for my car. The worst case would be that my car would not be fixed, but my record would still be clear. At least, that's the way it looks currently. The best thing of all is that I'm not nearly as depressed as I have been. In fact, I'm downright cheery compared to the past couple days. Even my allergies seem to be better, and that's great.

Thanks, guys, but I just got off the phone with ICBC (his insurance company) and they are basically telling me to stuff it. They are going to talk to my insurance company, but it doesn't look so hot.
