What up.. I currently own the 8, have had it for a month, and am leaning towards the re-purchase of it.. And am in the market for a 7/ if in good shape and know what I am getting myself into... If someone can tell me that these are the greatest cars, and if I buy one I'll be happy, i'll go with it - I know you wouldn't know without checking out the car, but with this general info, I'm sure something can be said about it - Just wondering if this would be worth the purchase/ Have not actually gone to check it out - What would I look for in a used 7??
1993 MAZDA RX7, twin turbo, 5 spd, must see to appreciate, looks like brand new, transferable warranty, new turbos, engine, down pipe, synchronizers, suspension, custom wheels, powerful turbo timer, everything works perfect, $16,750 obo (5k miles on new engine)
1993 MAZDA RX7, twin turbo, silver/black int., 5 spd., sunroof, new motor/brakes/tires/paint, all performance work done by Kilo Racing, check them out on the web, over $30,000 invested - (don't know the mileage) $$18k
93 RX-7 twin turbo touring edition. This car is in perfect condition and was meticulously cared after. The car was always allowed to warm up before driving, and was allowed to cool down before shutting off. Oil was changed religiously ever 3,000 miles. Precautionary mods were performed to improve reliabiltiy. AST was replaced with an aluminum Air Seperation Tank to prevent fluid blow-by. An HKS downpipe was installed to vent exhaust quickly to reduce underhood temperatures. All hoses have been replaced for precautionary measures - This one is beautiful / Just by the pictures/ Very clean, leather is well kept and looks great/ so does dash, and equipment / 43k miles - $19k
Three 7's in my area, want to check them all out / Let me know what you all think, if you can give me some tips/ recommandations would be appreciated/
Thanks,
Joe

ok didn't know if the new engine part was good
I mean, just wondering why it needed to be replaced basically - But if everything was installed by a professional place, then things should be fine ..
There is also an audi tt quattro for sale for $18k - Would one be more reliable than the other??? I don't want to buy the 7 and have something blow and me be stranded.. I've loved the 7 since I've seen them.. Just don't want to get myself into something that may cause problems in the future.... Let me know your thoughts..

Many Rx7's will be for sale with new engine's...the gen. public doesn't know how to take care of them, so, yea you are better off with one with a fresh one, or a blown to replace yourself, but if it has anything above 30k just check over everything, some sellers DO know their cars
So yea, bottom line is, you have to know this car's engine, do the research. There are links to FAQ's at rx7club.com and here (I think?).
**As for me, I plan on buying Blown and rebuilding, if not then buying one with a fresh rebuild and maybe some dress-up mods

I'm still in the buy back process of the 8 tho.. so it may be a couple weeks before I can purchase anything
