Well, I had the honor to disassemble one of the rarest and most powerful 4cy-turbo 2.0L endurance motors ever created today...here are some pics.



this one is of the first thing that I removed...the intake manifold that had 3! injectors per cylinder!

a mere 780hp at the crank....this is an enduro motor though....it can do 850-1000hp "bursts"

BTW....while i was ripping that bitch apart taking many pics for future reference the 3 liter twinturbo ferrari project(not the one i posted) broke the 950 hp mark..god damn racing is fun. just cant wait till i can participate a little more

we can dyno and map/tune a rotary on our engine (not chassis) dyno...but we still know nothing about them (even me)

See I have a Tempo and had the original 2.4 in there. I took it out, had it bored to hell and back, increased the Comp. Ratio to 10.5-1 and now I'm kicking out about about 300FWHP with the gutted exhaust, home made cold air box on the stock auto tranny. It's about to die, but this would be the first time I told anyone that the car ISN'T STOCK. LOL, the 86 GL came with 86 HP. HAHA

I'm happy with it, but the only thing I don't do with it is launch hard. I think it would snap the gears through the housing LOL. As soon as I get it going till like 30 or so, I flor it and it flies. The speedo goes up to 85MPH, but I did way past 140 (I estimate) once. It's pretty cool, people never see it coming. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683894.gif

you dont understand Scrce.....the cars that these motors go into create 8,000 lbs of downforce at 180 mph. that is 3,000 lbs more downforce than a F1 car, they weight 1500 lbs WET and cost about 275,000 for a tub (add drive train yourself). Also, these cars are historic, not current (**** that)GTP cars. New cars suck https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif





you'll do 100 through a 90 degree high-speed kink, and the car will laugh at you and say "you ******* wimp, put your boot into it!". They took the infamous Eau Rouge corner(spa-francochamps racetrack) flat 10 years ago. F1 cars are now starting to take that corner flat out, no lift. I've gotten rides in the "baby" camel light GTP cars and they where scary....and they have only 500hp



Just think of doing a 10 flat in the 1320....over and over again...out of every corner
