We got on the water about 10:30 am, launched a bit north of where we wanted to fish and crab. Too far really I will use a different launch next time, took us about 45 minutes to get the spot where we dropped our pots.

Clear day water was nice a smooth to start, could not ask for more. Slipped around the pots, put the downriggers down and withing 5 minutes had a Humpi salmon on the line, easy drag in no fight, about 5 lbs, turn around troll back the other way boom the line is going out again, the second one had some fight, was over 8Lbs, very good size. Pulled the pots, got a few crab, slung her around one more time, put no effort into trolling got a couple small guys that we tossed back, pulled the downriggers up, went up the the sound to see what else the Port of Edmonds had to offer, we launched out of Everett, swung back, pulled the pots and we have more crab then any 5 people can eat, but gonna chop up what we don't eat for crab salads!

the first pic is the Humpi salmon, in the pan when we got home, on the way back we got slammed with waves, it sucked ***, the wind picked up we got soaked, waves washing over the boat, the boat loved it plowed right through it, we were wet, salty and cold, not the best way to end a great day on the water.

Yea we'll get 4 meals out of the 2 fish, I fillet'd them with hardly any meat waste. Always good to know you can put food on the table with your bare hands LOL
