We just had installed a DSL connection at work. I used to be the only one to be able to get online via AOL dialup. Now we are all networked together on a DSL line.
This is good because now we can setup E-mail and communicate via e-mail with our clients.
This is bad because I can foresee employee productivity going down due to lots of net surfing.
Sorta like me being on line right now.
But I'm the boss I'm allowed to screw off. Right?

That is true. I put a lot of time into this place. Lately I have had to depend on my employees to step up somewhat. I have been getting our 10 y/o off to school in the morning so I cannot get in by 7:00 like usual I have to come in at 8:00. Then I stay until 5-6 on a normal day.
My wife is due in 2 weeks. So when she has the baby I will be in and out a lot.
Normally I try to be the 1st one in and the last to leave. Plus I busted my *** since 97 to get this place to where it is. I used to work 20 hours a day 5 days a week when I was first getting this place going.
If I want to step back and catch my breath I think I should be allowed to. I pay my employees very well and give them great bonuses. I only expect in return a good honest days work.
