Going skiing for the first time this week and i wanted to know what gear do i need. i already have a spyder jacket and fleece which is a ski jacket and have north face ski pants but im wondering if i need Thermal gear like shirts and pants, or can i just wear a pair of jeans and a hoodie with my jacket. Or would that hinder my movement on the slopes

Im suppose to go this Saturday to Vernon NJ to mountain creek.

Ima go snowboarding and skiiing JUne 27-31 in vermont so i want to practice now before i go lol

Thanks

Jason

Many layers. If the temps are going to be really cold make sure you have the ability to cover up every square inch of skin.

Get a pair of Goggles or good sunglasses too. Again this depends on forecasted temps.

Snowboarding is brutal. Expect some whiplash and a sore ass in the days to come learning is tricky.

If you have some good ski pants you should be set with just some thermals under them, but that is personal preferance. I like just wearing thermals under my ski pants. Again this is all tempurature related. If the temps were hitting upper 40's I was in jeans and a sweater.

I always wear just jeans under my ski pants. I have a fleece, and a ski jacket that I wear with just a t-shirt under it. Definataly make sure you have a hat that covers your ears.

I much prefer goggles to sunglasses. Without goggles my eyes dry out, get snow in the eyes, just all around more enjoyable with goggles.

I usually snowboard in 20-40 degree weather, Would need more thermal gear for anything cooler I think.

You will need snowboarding pants.....wet balls and ass suck... so wear some snowboarding pants as for the top just wear a polypro with a hoodie, get some motocross gloves, some goggles-preferrably SPY- because they kick ass, and a cool lookin beanie, and you should be good for a day at the slopes..................................Oh one other thing that would seriously help you is to Cash in your Skis For a Board. Board are much easier to learn, you can do a wide range of tricks even as a begginer, and the Chicks think those are way cooler!

I grew up on Ski's and could not catch on to the snowboard. I got too frustrated and went back to ski's. I can go an entire week skiing and never fall once. On a snow board it was the other way around. I got to stand once.... I think... I might have been dreaming.

It's all cool Skiers get chicks to.....it depends on where your shreddin at......I usually go to the ditch by my driveway..... its about 2 feet across and 1 foot deep...makes for a good halfpipe, for some reason though I havent got any chicks yet out there https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683329.gif
