so an 11 year old car with 22k miles.

2k miles a year.

this isnt necessarily a GOOD thing.

let alone you paid $16300 for an AUTO FD when they go for as low as $12k if not lower.

hell didnt 94touring sell his single turbo manual fd for $17k or something?

One of the times I was at KDR I was talking to a guy who bought a white '94 with 35K on it. It turns out that the car was babied its whole life, so as soon as he got on the gas (on his way home from shelling out the $$) the engine went.

yup thats what i was referring to, a babied car is rarely the best thing. tons of buildup can happen and nasty things result.

Carbon get's built up somewhere in the intake manifolds then eaten in the motor once you really start boosting, no?

Colin... Carbon and water are products of combustion, hence the reason why the inside of all exhaust pipes turn black. No combustion before head = no carbon in intake. :P
