Is there anything to do in Orlando or Tampa/St. Pete area?? I am going to be bored out of my skull half the time, so I need something to do? How's the weather been this month?? I would not mind meeting up with some floridian rotor heads either.



Only problem is I am going down with my folks. If anyone wants to hook up(doubt it since it is so close to christmas) just shoot me a PM for my number or nextel ID. I figured just grab a bite to eat, and I would like to see Jim's RX-7 in person. I don't even know where Jim lives though!! I want to know some good places to eat, attractions. I have already been to busch gardens, so don't mention that. I am just not familiar with the area.



I want to meet phins also, but everybody is so damn busy!!



Any help would be appreciated.

There's something called River Walk in St. Pete (or is it Tampa?). It's a bunch of stores with a court yard in the middle, live music at night (at least when we were there) and dancing, restaurants, and a movie theatre. Might be fun to go to one night.

 

Duuuuude, I'll be in Orlando the day after Christmas, who lives there? It'd be sweet to meet some other board members!

 

Ybor City in Tampa is nothing but night clubs, alcohol, and girls after dark. Just don't wander off on your own down the alleys. (common sense)

 

downtown disney actually has a nice place called pleasure island... it's worth a trip to

 

yeah theres a good amount of stuff to do. Im 30-45 minutes away from orlando depending on traffic.

Phinsup, Mazdadrifter, Exyom, i didnt do it, and I all live about 1.5 hours south of Orlando along the Turnpike.



Weather report. Cold on Monday high in the 50's warming on Tues into the 70's and approaching 80 by Wed.



What to do in Orlando? Where are you staying?



Downtown disney has this place called Disneyquest its 5 stories of video games from Pac man to Virtual reality games. You can easily spend an entire day there. All around downtown disney there are places to shop eat and hang out. Its pretty cool there.



Over by Universal Studios there is City Walk thats full of shops restruants and bars its pretty fun there too.



Downtown Orlando is cool too less touristy than the others more local. Theres a Hooters and lots of Bars and restruants shops etc.. Its really cool there.





In Tampa Ebor City is the place to be at night. Lots of bars lots of chicks and if its a wilder night (event of some sort) you will see lots of boobies.





Also in Tampa there is a lot to do in the Old Hyde Park area, its an old downtown area that 6 years ago was ghetto but now is all yuppies with shops restruants bars etc... We drink a lot in Florida.





I wish we could meet up but this next week is gonna be hectic all that matters to me for the next 14 days is getting into me new office. My loan officer called today with some bullshit I need to clear up to close on this office so I am gonna be VERY busy.
