It's all horseshit, the rules are so the minority, weak and underprivilaged can rule the majority. They don't want you having friends over at 10 because to their complete lack of social skills they will never have any. Furthermore it's hard for the lady upstairs to diddle herself and watch lesbian **** if my car is running at 10:30 in the evening because I have to go to the store and get food to feed myself.
Personally I think they are all BS, you live in a multiple family dwelling you are going to hear your neighbor, sometimes they will come home late, sometimes they will slam their door, deal with it. Whatever happened to the good old days when if someone was an ******* neighbor you fucked his old lady while he was getting the food stamps? (j/k)

just hope you didnt sign anything when you got the place that gave them these powers. my buddy has a townhouse that has an association and he has to deal with all sorts of bullshit, but when he bought the place he signed his soul over to them as long as he keeps the place.

Well I just called the realtor, fucked part is two other people just listed in this development today, so it is going to suck getting sold, but **** it it's less stressful then fighting this battle for the next 2 years.

phins I've got a town house and a asso also...they keep uping the dues when I moved in it was 90..that was 2001 now its 115 per month... and they have all kinds of strange rules too but no curfue crap...like if you dont clean your parking space you will get fined if you dont clean it up... and ****...or a good one I'm army guard and most likely will get deployed soon..how the **** am I gonna pay the dues if I'm not around and they don't have a direct withdraw option??? and how am I gonna clean my spaces when I'm gone or trim my tree? I asked them this already and the reply was well we don't know. but I can tell you that no assoc. has the right to say when you can come and go from your house...you could sue them for that one. best thing to do is go throught the bi laws with a fine tooth comb and a lawyer and see what violates your rights and sometimes you can find loope holes in the laws...like an existing law that will override a new one...or just sell the ******* place and raise as much hell as you can before you sell it like nice 6k burn outs while leaving at 11pm hahah I would...
