Im not saying everyone should be a man-*****, and just try to sleep with as many pointless girls as possible. BUT, many many times when people get married young, they regret not doing a lot of things, and the longing for what they missed out on when they were younger leads to a lot of failed marriages. You should at least see what else is out there before you want to get settled down.

Making mistakes is part of life, especially growing up. And if you date very few girls before you get married, theres a good chance you will settle for someone who isnt good for you, just because you dont think there is anyone else better out there. Every one of my failed relationships has taught me something, and in the end, every mistake I have made will make me a better person, and make a better decision about who I want to spend the rest of my life with.

It's not like I haven't dated a lot...and I don't want to be married within the next 3-4 years either. I've dated enough to know what I'm looking for in a girl and that now I'll just be wasting my time to date girls outside of that category. I don't feel deprived, I feel like I've found what I'm going to want/need.

Rock on. Keep yer head up and ready. You don't need to "test drive" other cars to know what a real car should feel like.

The excuse for sexual "discovery" is quite humorous really, my parents were divorced and re-married and hold a support group for all sorts of odd, troubled marriages.

If you are going to drop an awesome wife of 10 years simply because you didn't get to have sex with other women you have more problems than just that...IMO...

You may know what you want now, but trust me, you will be a very different person in a few years.

Phoenixdown, if you had an awesome wife for 10 years, then you wouldnt drop her. There are always exceptions, but keep in mind that they are just that: exceptions to the rule.

My point is I guess: Life isn't about sex. And what I meant was the idea that not being able to sleep with several women isn't a big deal. It really boils down to being selfish, self-seeking, self-satisfying.

My life and my aim and my faith are anything but that.
