so last night i told her that shes gotten on my nerves before. i followed that up with "not very much, i probably get on your nerves a lot more than you get on mine." so anyway today she tells me that i have never gotten on her nerves and that she is hurt that she has gotten on mine. i dont understand how you can be going out with someone for 1 year and 8 months and not have gotten on their nerves at least once. im not even counting the 4 or so years we knew each other before starting the dating.

WHATS UP WITH THAT??

she's just trying to make you feel guilty and switch the situation around so she's the victim and ****. she's trying to guilt trip you.

Yep. But if you feel like making amends, go pick up a few flowers and a Cosmopolitan magazine, and tell her that you want your relationship to be open and honest blah blah blah, and say that if she ever does anything to bother you, you'll tell her, and ask that she do the same. Doesn't mean you actually have to do it, though.

shes really not one to do that kind of thing on purpose. apparently to her i am the most perfect creation ever created. to her none of my traits are flawed whatsoever. the only time she gets upset is when i say the wrong thing, like something i dont like about her.

been through that more than once. i wish we would tell everything about each other that bugs us, at least that way you know when youre doing something wrong. i dont mind when someone tells me something they dont like about me, its not gonna hurt my feelings and it gives me a chance to become a better more likeable person.

but if we did that it would be completely one sided bc apparently theres nothing about me that could be better. then she would be upset because i think everything is wrong with her.
