You will save a lot of money if you go with an AMD Athlon XP, trust me, mine's faster than a 2.1Ghz P4 and it was A TON cheaper (I have an XP 2100+).

512 MB DDR 3200 - $80

Asus A7N8X - $115

HDD are about $1 a gig, so $80

I got a BUSlink burner from Bestbuy for $24.99...it's 48/12/50.

AMD XP 2400 - $139 (The only thing you'll need is a good cooling fan, like a Thermaltake Volcano or something equal).

I happen to be building a comp. right now...for $100.

Well took it into comp usa, couldn't get better than a getforce2 vid card, and no more than 20gb d, motherboard too small or someshit. Decided on a Dell 4550 w/ pentium 4 @ 2.4ghz w/ 533mhz front side bus/512k l2 cache, 512mb ram @ 333mhz, 128m ati radeon 9700 tx v-card, 60gb 7200rpm hd space, windows xp etc. Will be ordering it within 3 days, how does this sound guys?
