Okay I hate to revive a dead post but this is a very serious question. Now that things are getting worse and tomorrow might be the big day, gas prices are starting to go up! With this said I am currently looking into buying an FD. The whole Premium thing is gonna kill me if I do. So....my question is what can I do to save money. I remember reading a post where yall were talking about octane boosters. Can you run the car on this if no what else can I do. Money is tight right at the moment and if I cant afford to fill the car up no sense in buying it. PLease help.....

I hope you are not talking about your business. I don't even want to thin about that.

Today on the news they said that we are expected to only get 20 million barrells a day. That sounds like alot but over 20 million people fill up their car a day in Texas alone! Scary...

Thank god I own an austin mini. Drove myself and my girlfriend to work monday thru friday, 35 mile round trip, drove around town a few times putting on maybe an extra 50miles, and spent $8. Thats right 8 american dollars!!! Then topped the tank off for weekend driving with another 2 dollars. Got to love 50+mpg on the cheap stuff.

yeah I was talking about the business. (everyone will still get everything they ordered) There is a 99.9% chance they will make me stay in the Navy and then I will be put back on the boat since my time on the beach is up.

Yeah I have a Vitz too, so that helps A GREAT deal for the $$$$ 280km on a tank in the 7 or close to 500km in the VITZ, hum. Also to fill up my 7 is $60, and the Vitz is $40

Holy crap your getting raped...60 bucks?!

I spent 35 bucks filling mine up and I got pissed. I'm sorry.

BTW Octane boosters are junk. Plus they cost like 6-10 bucks so it's just like using premium in the first place. I don't really think they boost it that much either.

Japan gas prices are nasty. The best I have seen I think was

98 yen a liter. Now they are 108 yen a liter and holding
