Aight bitches, I need all of your funny sex and/or high school stories.
I don't have any good ones, and I need one in order to get a signature and therefore make my roster number lower for the fraternity I'm pledging.

let me get this straight:
1. you want to join a frat (pay for friends)
2. in order to gain their acceptance, you must make up a life that is more pathetic than your own (in addition to $1000 per semester)
3. this made up lie must involve a pathetic sex story so they can make fun of you.
frats = paying for friends that are going to make themselves feel cool by making fun of you in regards to a embarrassing sex story that didn't even happen to you. after bid week, you will then become their proverbial beer bitch and designated driver with 4 am wakeup calls, also known as a pledge, or a TOOL.

For one, this fraternity takes pride in the fact that we know (or will know) each other pretty well. The entire basis of getting to know one another is a really old tradition of paddles, as in cricket-like paddles. Each brother signs the back in a specific order according to roster number. This in-turn effects your roster number and your chance of moving into the house next fall.
In order to get a signature of another brother, you usually have to beat them at something, know facts about the history of the fraternity, a story about an alumni, or in the case of this one guy, an entertaining story. Now since I don't have any entertaining stories, I was just wondering if you all had something I could use.
I was skeptical about joining a fraternity, but the main reason I joined was to meet people. There's no other way to meet a variety of people than to join a fraternity. Especially Theta Chi, they are known for being intellectuals yet knowing when it's okay to have a good time.
So, IMO, I'm not buying friends.

you can join plenty of free organizations on campus, with dues being only like $25. most colleges have a Student Life Open House, where the clubs showcase themselves.
at A&M, ours it this weekend. we have over 700 clubs on campus, and 200 are displaying at open house this weekend.
most majors also have a club associated with them. i'm in SAE (society of auto engineers), i was in PTS (mech. engr. honors society).
i'm sure your school also has a student activities web site where you can browse each club by a variety of different topics.

not that frats are bad, but for that money you spend hanging out with them, you could spend it on a turbo charger for your eclipse or whatever other mods you want.
ps, the dues money only includes joining;you still have to buy date party shirts, pay for beer, pay to live in the house, pay for food. that "membership dues" goes to crap like the national chapter, scholarships (which you might not get), and who knows what else.

You do bring up some good points, but overall I think I will be better joining than not joining. But still, the pledge period isn't over yet.
I'm pledging for Theta Chi, the Alpha Nu chapter is the one at Georgia Tech.

Why do you need our stories why don't you just make one up? not creative (not flaming you) If your not im sure someone can come up with a good one I have an alright one but I don't think it is good enough to get ya anything.

i had sex with my girlfriend during class in our sports med. training room, she was the teachers aid so she had the key, she came and got me out of my class then we did it on the couch in the teachers office, then half hour later, went back to class. never told anyone in school though, but now i am in college. it was awesome, also nerv racking.
