So I want a new tv and piece of furniture to sit it on, but I need to rid myself of the old stuff first, out with the old, in with the new!

I figure, let me try out this craigs list and see what happens.

I list it as Oak wall unit, blah blah

get ZERO response in a week

I relist it with some stupid ad being a idiot, and im not even kidding when I say I get 2 serious responses within 2 minutes of putting the ad up

amazing!

Advertising works, you need to get people's attention, I figured with a silly ad topic and a ad that itself kept people reading I would get some attention, well it worked!

Hooray for me!

dont know if the link will work for the ad but give it a try

he needs a stupid listing that doesnt say the price in the listing, get people reading it so they dont dismiss the item right away like I did

I listed Oak wall unit originally, some people may say "i dont want oak" and not even look, but I only said wall unit and then they at least look at the ad then decide.

My living room is longer then it is wide, I sit 8" from the TV, 65" would be like sitting in the front row of a movie theatre.
