yeah, so I went and entered all that info, password and all, in my irc settings, and tried it....same result 
like this:
*** Failed to launch Ident server : cannot access 113
Connecting...
Unable to connect : cannot connect to "chat.irchat.tv"
like this:

Hmm, you shouldn't have to enter a password unless you are registered on the on the irc nickserv. Very odd.....

Umm no, shouldn't say unable to connect. It could be a proxy issue or simply a conspiracy against you LOL

I tiwll automatically put you in the nopistons channels. Otherwise to access other channels there is a channels button at the top.
