Ask Sweet7, about Terrorism and hostility in Iraq. While it may not be directly linked to 911, it is a place of hatred and actually the ability to build weapons (not all in one place, like one WMD, but scattered parts and factories). Again, ask someone who's been to Iraq long enough.
Pre-911 idea would be to ignore it, but now we simply can't. *shrug*
The whole mess is a lot more complex than saying its all about one idea, threat, person, etc.

I have personally seen evidence of WMDs in Iraq. Just because there aren't 40,000 warheads laying all over the country with Sarin and Anthrax in them dosent mean they dont/didnt exsist. The US military found large quanities of already manufactured Chemical and Biological agents in Iraq. What seperates that from a WMD? About an hour of work....
As far as the lack of link between Iraq and Al-Qaeda? Well I've personally put flexi-cuffs on Al-Qaeda members IN IRAQ. But then again, what do i know?
Not really trying to start a debate. Just trying to show you guys, through the expereiences of a soldier, that yes, Iraq was a threat to the stability of the Middle-East, the USA, and ultimately the World.
Both sides of our government have fucked up in this incident. I do believe the US jumped into Iraq without an exit strategy, which is nipping us in the butt right now. I also believe that the US military top-brass didnt take into account that it would take more troops to occupy the country then to conquer it. On the other hand, I think that having the liberals say that there were no WMDs in Iraq, Al-Qaeda was not linked to Iraq, and that basically Iraq was not a threat is a major load of bullshit.

It is only them using it as a tool to bash Bush. ******* people carrying out their own agendas, they cant look at the big picture.
