true dat. a friend of mine had an 8 second mustang, and the fuel pumps were louder than any car ive ever owned

My friend from back in NY had a pretty fast Mustang...I think it was in the 10s. I wanted to toy with him one day while he was on his way home from work (believe it or not, it was his daily driver during the summer) but he said he couldn't jump on it because his 8 gallon tank was only half full and it would slosh too much and cause him to lose power. I found that a little funny. I also thought it was funny that with only 8 gallons of fuel, he only got about 25 miles to the tank. Good thing he lived close to where he worked.

it doesn't take a career in drag racing to understand that you shouldn't lift off the gas when your pointing at a wall. Maybe you could enlighten me?

Yeah, you can spout off all you want on here, but until you're in that situation, you don't know what you'll do. You've never driven a car that fast and I'd bet a year's income that you'd make a mistake or two if you had one, so stop acting like you're John Force and cut the guy some slack.
