So I've had my truck in 3 times for this evaporated emissions ****, 1st time they said bring it back empty, second they said tighten the gas cap, 3rd they said bring it back cause our smoke machine is broke. The 3rd was 3 or 4 months ago and we call, they say its still broken, so i call Mazda, who calls the dealer who says they dont know what we're talking about it has never been broken, bring the car in. when we call to schedule they act like we're on crack. I can only assume they just didnt want to mess with it and was hoping i would take it elsewhere.

yes mine is warranty and yes i have worked at a dealer as a flat rate mechanic and i know the guy who already got paid the hours doesnt work there, but if i were asked to fix something like that i'd tell my sm to give me some hours, either that or i start wheeling my toolbox out the door

the smoke machine is broke, lol

every shop on every corner has one of those machines.

Did I mention how much I LOVE my Lexus dealer, damm they treat you good. I actually look forward to sitting in the lounge, drinking my free starbucks coffee, using thier phones and computers with internet, eating muffins, cookies, bagels, etc..

Sitting in a nice office talking with my service writer, getting the car back washed and vaccumed, its a PLEASURE.

Compared to trying to get one of 4 folding chairs in the my mazda dealer hallway waiting area and argueing with them on how to fix the ******* car right. I dont think I will ever buy a new Mazda again.

You need to find another Mazda dealer. Whitten Bros. here in Richmond has a pretty nice service dept. They wash the car, and provide free service loaners (if you bought the car there, as I did), even on an oil change if it's going to be over an hour. They really haven't had to fix anything yet, but so far I've been pretty happy with them.

per mazda's warranty EVERY mazda dealer no matter where you bought your car, no matter where you take is REQUIRED to provide you with a free loaner car, if not call the 800 number and they will get you one.
