So I've had my truck in 3 times for this evaporated emissions ****, 1st time they said bring it back empty, second they said tighten the gas cap, 3rd they said bring it back cause our smoke machine is broke. The 3rd was 3 or 4 months ago and we call, they say its still broken, so i call Mazda, who calls the dealer who says they dont know what we're talking about it has never been broken, bring the car in. when we call to schedule they act like we're on crack. I can only assume they just didnt want to mess with it and was hoping i would take it elsewhere.

bring it here! our crack smoking machine works!

the smoke machine is broke, lol
every shop on every corner has one of those machines. Did I mention how much I LOVE my Lexus dealer, damm they treat you good. I actually look forward to sitting in the lounge, drinking my free starbucks coffee, using thier phones and computers with internet, eating muffins, cookies, bagels, etc.. Sitting in a nice office talking with my service writer, getting the car back washed and vaccumed, its a PLEASURE. Compared to trying to get one of 4 folding chairs in the my mazda dealer hallway waiting area and argueing with them on how to fix the ******* car right. I dont think I will ever buy a new Mazda again. |

I dont think I will ever buy a new Mazda again. You need to find another Mazda dealer. Whitten Bros. here in Richmond has a pretty nice service dept. They wash the car, and provide free service loaners (if you bought the car there, as I did), even on an oil change if it's going to be over an hour. They really haven't had to fix anything yet, but so far I've been pretty happy with them. |

I used to get .75 for the 4wd harness recall on the blazers, no matter how many times i did it, i could not get the car in the shop, harness changed and back to the lot in under an hour There were days I had 5 of the fuckers. |

No kidding? I guess I've been driving old junk for so long, I couldn't imagine that such luxuries had become commonplace. |

yer lexus is a new car rob... why are you at the dealer.. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...R#>/tongue.png |
the window tinter actually melted 2 moldings doing the windows
he does the dealer's work so they changed the moldings for me they also were out of stock for the chrome rim center caps with the lexus logo on them, so they gave me the car with plain caps on them. thats my 2 trips to the dealer, and it was a pleasure. Compared to the horror stories at my Mazda dealer- thats what I get for being easy going, if I ever have to go back there Im just going to be a pain in the ass like some of my customers are. God forbid they should actually give out a loaner car, they did that for me once while they repainted the spoiler. |
man where have i been i didnt even know u bought a new car

I like my service department, but I haven't needed anything but oil changes yet (and a broken clip that held the fender and front bumper together, fixed under warranty). I guess it helps that I know the guy who works the desk, I always see him and talk to him at car meets and such. And that our car hasn't broken yet.
Parts department is real good, too. I hated the sales process though. My dad and the finance guy were about to throw down some fisticuffs. I almost felt sorry for the guy, he looked pretty dweebish, and my dad is rather burly (people tell me he's scary). |
I tip everybody too, thinking they will treat you right.

my parents hate dealers! they wont work on their van under warranty. its had a clunk for about 40k miles...... atleast they did do a like $2500 repair job when everything but the engine broke at 39k miles, i'm very happy i made them get the extended gm warranty....
but yes dealers suck! except lexus i guess lol |
they will actually come and pick you car up for you and drop it off, if its going to be long they will bring you a loaner
