You've got 2.2% in taxes, 3% to each of the agents, in the case only one agent, so only 3%, then you have escrow fees, which are about $1,100.00, there's a bunch of other stuff in there too. I owe them cause I sold the condo for $185,000 and owed $175,000 on it, subtract 175k from 185k you get $10,000 subract fees mentioned above, plus little misc fees like the condo assoc statement and crap you get $11,200, add the $700 I paid to have it listed and another $150 for document fee and there's your $12,000. Sutract the $12,000 from $10,000 and you've got -$2,000. I pay that.
